Thanks to our own Mark DeMeno for putting together a great band and set of songs for the 16th annual Blues for Food show at Domenico's Ristorante in Cranberry on Sunday, Feb. 21. The band featured Mark on guitar and vocals; Andrea Iglar on sax and vocals; Rod Miller on rhythm guitar; and bassist Dave Tauberg and drummer Mike South, both of theCAUSE. Highlights included Mark playing Europa and other Santana tunes; event host Eugene Morgan joining the group for a fun rendition of Mojo Workin' and Dave Iglar Band's Dave & D-Kat jamming on Andrea's Who Been Talkin'. In addition to the Mark DeMeno Band, the all-day program included the Waldo Young Band, Jill West & Blues Attack, Eugene & the Nightcralers, the Jimmy Adler Band and Johnny B & the Accelerators. More than $4,100 and 524 pounds of food were raised for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Please enjoy our event photos.

As part of the 16th annual Blues for Food show, the Mark DeMeno Band (featuring our own Mark & Andrea), with a special appearance by the Dave Iglar Band, will perform at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 21 in Domenico's Ristorante, 20550 Route 19, Cranberry. The day of music, hosted by Eugene Morgan & the Nightcrawlers, will benefit the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Donation is $10 at the door. Canned goods and nonperishable food items are welcome. See you there!

Dave Iglar Band's "Messiah" video has surpassed 1,000 views on YouTube! The video features Dave playing his version of Roy Buchanan's "The Messiah Will Come Again" on an autographed PRS Santana SE One Abraxas guitar. See it on our videos page or on our YouTube channel.

This just in: The Dave Iglar Band will return to Del's Roadhouse on Saturday, March 6 for a wild rock-n-roll show! It's the 3rd Annual "Can't Afford to go to Bike Week" Blowout Party. The club is between Saltsburg & Indiana, in Jacksonville. Check out our events page for directions.
